About Us
History:
It all started out a site called Neolazy, owned by the brilliant Taron
and some of his friends from his old guild. After working there for quite a few months, I, Scooby, decided I
wanted to open my own site. I went together with one of the former "employees" of Neolazy, Tiger.
Though I was in his guild as well, we talked on instant messenger, came up with multiple names, and thus,
Neohaze was born. This all happened in May of 2007. A few months later, the site was going very well, and still
being maintained by Tiger and Me. But after multiple staff members resigned due to the new schoolyear, the site
became extremely inactive. Tiger and I decided
it was time to close Neohaze.
Downtime:
Of course, at this point, everyone is wondering why the heck Neohaze wasn't opened back up until November of
2008. Well, the honest truth is, Tiger and I opened a different site. After multiple months of busy school days,
we were all out for break, and we wanted to maintain another site. At the end of 2007, Silent-Studios was opened.
Though Silent-Studios was much like Neohaze, it was no where near as good. The site hits weren't near as high,
and inactivity was continued. Sports were big, school was important, and quite frankly, no one had the time.
Silent-Studios was opened for only 3 months after closing, yet again from inactivity.
The New Neohaze:
In November of 2008, I, Scooby, just was really bored. At this point, I was married, and working full-time. Not
only did I own the business I worked for, but I was on the computer all of the time. I decided it was time for
Neohaze to re-open. So, why, you are thinking? Well, I figured it would be worth wasting my time at work to
start fresh, and I decided to go with the name Neohaze, because of my Neopets account, as I named it after the
original one. Plus, I still had some of the content saved on my computer~! Less work for me; yay! But not only
that, the name went well with the concept, and quite frankly, I didn't have too many good ideas for other ones,
that weren't already taken. So, not too long after Thanksgiving, Neohaze was opened again! But, there was
something very different. Scooby would be working alone. I was not interested in hiring staff, as half the time
they are inactive anyways, and most of my friends were not interested, or don't have the time. I thought the
idea was great, and the first few days of working on it went smooth, so thus, the new Neohaze was born.
